Q + A

What time should I arrive on Friday?

Guests are welcome from 1pm onwards and are advised to arrive before 3pm if they would like lunch.

What time should I leave on Sunday?

All guests will need to have left Londolozi by 10am at the latest on Sunday morning.

Where will I be staying?

All of our guests will be allocated to one of Londolozi's five lodges, or to the Taylor family house. We will let you know which one closer to the time. Please note that we are very tight on space so many of our guests will be asked to share.

What expenses should I prepare for?

Accommodation, food, drinks and game drives are included for our guests. However, if you enjoy your stay, the Londolozi staff would be most appreciative of any gratuities you may feel appropriate. Spa treatments, boutique purchases and shuttles to and from the airport will be at your own expense.

What will the weather be like?

Generally, the weather in March is very hot and sunny. We are hoping for dry weather, but summer rainstorms are not uncommon, and powerful downpours can last for days on end. Therefore, we recommend you pack a raincoat just in case, along with clothes you don't mind getting soaked, as well as a good sense of humour to make the most of it!

What shoes should I wear?

All events out in the bush will involve climbing in and out of Land Rovers and walking on uneven ground through long grass. Comfortable, flat shoes are recommended. For those adamant on high heels, we would recommend low, thick heels or wedges. The dancefloor is surrounded by soft sand so flat shoes are essential for after dinner on Saturday night.

What is the dress code?

On Friday afternoon/evening, the dress code is Sexy Safari! For the ceremony and reception on Saturday, the dress code is Summer Cocktail. Most important to us is that our guests are comfortable. It will likely be hot, with a chance of rain. Jackets and ties are not required. Please keep in mind that you will be walking through sand and grass both on Friday night and at the ceremony on Saturday.
